Our Turkish flotilla starts from one of our home ports of Orhaniye, Marmaris or Gocek with the opportuninity for ‘intercontinental’ travel, crossing from Aisa Minor to Europe to visit the Greek island of Symi.
Explore the turquoise coast where the translucent shimmering and ever changing sea claims a miriad of blues and greens as the sunshine refects off the clear water. With brisk offshore winds the sailing can be exhilerating or stay in the more sheltered areas for a calmer experience.
The Weather
The season here is from April to November.
Sailing Conditions
Sailing conditions are reliable with north-westerly winds force 2 – 4, occasionally 5 – , from late morning to late afternoon. These fade as the sun goes down to give a calm night on anchor in one of the numerous shertered bays and anchorages.
